City Navigator 2009 NT not in registry after install

I have installed Garmin EU City Navigator 2009 NT on my PC using the prescribed method of using the updater package and unlocked the map using the KG.

All is well but when I try and run MapConverter inorder to be able to transfer the maps onto my Macbook it says that Mapconverter cannot find any installed map products.

The registry keys under Mapsource products are effectively empty.

Does anyone know how to write the correct entries to the registry?

Because City Navigator 2009 have a new map format. You can find all map files in the folder:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\GARMIN\Maps\

New map format haven't any keys in the Windows registry. So, if you need convert CNEU 2009 GMP to old format (with registry keys), you can use conversion tool "conv-cne". For more information, see the topic New map file type from Garmin GMP on www.gpspassion.com.

CNEU 2009.11 is newest map of Europe. Info.

I have now successfully installed CN EUR NT 2009.11 onto my PC and it shows up ok in Mapsource.

The older version is, however, still there. I do not need the older 2009 any more, is there a clean way to remove it?
