Včera jsem jen tak z legrace opět pustil WebUpdater a ten mi našel Garminem (už poněkolikáté) oficiálně nehlášený update firmware pro samotný GPS chipset, ne FW pro přístroj.

Jedná se o verzi 2.60 a jediná informace která k tomu byla, je z okénka samotného WebUpdateru - GPS Chipset Type M2 (Region File).Docela by mne zajímalo, co se tím spravuje nebo vylepšuje

Zde se píše, že download je možný pouze přes WebUpdater. Taky jsem nikde nenarazil na popis verze 2.60. S největší pravděpodobností se bude jednat pouze o nějaký fix.

Jak jste se k těmto údajům dostal ? Ať tam zkouším hledat jak chci, tak se mi nedaří...

Vyhledávací engine na garmin.com je téměř nepoužitelnej, tak používám raději Google (zkuste klepnout). Bohužel ani RSS kanál není ideální. Takže nejlepší způsob, jak se dozvědět o novém firmware, je použít WebUpdater nebo případně tyto stránky, kde jsou informace o aktualizacích řazeny chronologicky.

Ještě k tomu patří i nová verze "GPS Chipset Type M2 (Region File)", také 2.80. Změny Garmin, jako obvykle, neuvádí...
